Friday Sketches - Week 18

Welcome to Friday Sketches, and if you are in the USA, Happy 4th July.

Summer Sketches

This week my Friday Sketches are all about the images of summer.

Summer Sketches

So I thought I would share some summer sketches I did on my recent trip to Australia.

Summer Sketches

Sketching is a far better way to capture moments, especially when you travel.

When we sketch what we see, the impressions of sounds, colors, and textures are etched far deeper onto our psyche that any photograph can ever go.

Summer Sketches

Each of these images recalls powerful memories of my recent time in Australia.

Summer Sketches

What are some of the images of summer for you?  Or if you are in the Southern Hemisphere, then what does winter look like?

Here are some images of the amazing work done by participants of last weeks Friday Sketches.  Be sure to stop by their blogs and say hi.
