Prepping and filming for a new class is always a joy for me. I get completely lost in the process and the art. For the next few months I'll be busy filming my new online class "Watercolor Pencils", and I'm having such a wonderful time.
Unpacking all the camera equipment and lighting, setting up a filming area, and practicing a bunch of projects is like Christmas. I haven't really started the major filming as yet, it is a bit harder to do with the children home from school. Constant interruptions are the norm. So instead I've been practicing.
In fact, I filmed this little bouquet of flowers which was done from a pic of some vintage daisy illustrations that I found here. It gives you a sneak peek into my process of recreating these daisies using watercolor pencils.
The vibrations about half way though were caused by the children running in and out of the studio while I was filming. I didn't realize that this made my art table bounce, it wasn't apparent when I was working, but looking back at the footage it is quite obvious.
"Watercolor Pencils" is the first class in the new "Water Soluble Series". It goes live in September and registration is now open. If you'd like more information about this wonderful, indefinite access, online class, please click here.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead and that the weather is kind where ever you are in the world.
Thanks for stopping by. xx
