Although spring hasn't quite arrived in the upper mid-west, it has sent us a little taste. The past few days have been glorious.
I am yet to discover the secrets of my new garden, they have been well hidden under a heavy blanket of snow. But as each day passes, so does the snow melt.
What wonders lie beneath the icy mounds? What joys will I discover? What beauties will fill my sketchbooks?
Spring is close, I can taste it on the breeze. But as I wait, I am caught in the memories of a glorious Australian summer, filled with the heady scent of ocean and late summer gardens.
It is still the colors of Australia that fill my sketchbooks for now, whetting my appetite for the coming spring.
Thanks for checking in. xx
