I've been wonderfully preoccupied with my Mastering Twinks class again this week. It's week two and we're exploring Twinkling Color.
I always love the color lessons, it's wonderful to see students plunge themselves into the amazing world of the color wheel. I never get sick of it and I'm always astounded at how creative people can be when it comes to color theory.
The exercises that come from the color lessons are always amazing, and this time has been no different. Students very quickly start imprinting their own style onto the projects and I am once again humbled by the talent and courage of so many people.
This week we're using fruit to help us explore color. I find fruit to be a very fluid and forgiving subject and it lends itself to some wonderful creative interpretation. Needless to say, I haven't been disappointed by the wonderful skills of my students.
So in honor of their hard work and participation, I thought I would play along once more and sketch up some Grapes using my beautiful Twinkling H2O's.
This was done in my Stillman & Birn "Epsilon" Series sketchbook using Twinkling H2O's and Ink. The live portion of the class runs until mid August, but participants have access to the class until July 2014.
Thanks for checking in. xx
