Even though it's winter here in Australia, the weather has been beautiful and my children and I have been on the beach every day. As they've been playing in the sand, I've been sketching.
This is a quick watercolor sketch of the view from Portarlington Pier looking east over the cliff tops to Port Phillip Bay. That's my daughter building a sandcastle.
It is done in my Stillman & Birn "Zeta" Series Sketchbook using Sennelier Watercolors, Albrech Durer Watercolor Pencils, and Ink.
Life is quiet here right now. It's beautiful, and peaceful, and calming. I may never leave.
Thanks for checking in. xx
