We had a lovely quiet relaxing weekend. Just tidying up around the house, getting ready for a garage sale next weekend, and having some family fun time. I had a wonderful Mother's Day and enjoyed some down time in the garden with my sketchbook.
Thomas and I have a big day at the hospital today, with more testing to fine tune his "Autism" diagnosis. I have my sketchbook with me, but I doubt I'll get any time to escape into it. The hospital visits always exhaust me, they're long, busy, and very stressful. The development testing doesn't bother Thomas that much, he thinks it's all just fun play time...as it should be.
Anyway, I spent a lot of Sunday making art with my 7yo daughter Megan. We were playing around with my Twinkling H2O's and watercolor pencils in our sketchbooks. I don't usually let her use my Twinks, but she loves them so much that I sometimes like to let her have a turn. And lets face it; if a child is going to learn to love their art, then in my opinion, they should be using good quality supplies.
Thomas on the other hand, likes to stack my dry Twinkling H2O pots into a tall tower and watch them fall. It's all good fun!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for checking in. xx
