Art Every Day Month

I have a pretty good habit of creating every day. In fact, some days I create pages and pages of art, and get totally lost in the flow.

But art can be a lonely business, and inspiration isn't always balanced. So I participate in challenges.  Not many, just a few here and there, and not as regularly as I'd like.

One of those challenges is Art Every Day Month. A month long attempt at creating and sharing something every day. I won't connect to AEDM every single day.  I have other priorities, but I will check into it every day.

I do it to connect to other artists, see new things, get lots of inspiration, and build another dimension of discipline around my creativity.

Right now, I'm preparing for my Art of Luminescence class.  I like to practice my techniques, play around with colors, and create lots of art before I get up in front of a class.

This little card was made using Twinkling H2O's and a flourish of glitter.

There are still a couple of places available in this studio workshop.  If you'd like to getaway for a day of shimmering fun, then please join me.  Click here for more information.

Thanks for checking in.

  2. That card is really beautiful! I'm still working on your Taste of Silks class and its awesome!! But this is worst time of year. I have very little time to work on my art so it's a bit frustrating. I'm going to check out the Art Every Day Month site. Thank you for sharing!

  8. I like the way the wide white outline lends this a stencil-like quality. It's a great way to achieve the effect without all the fuss of cutting a stencil. The sparkle is totally gorgeous of course.
