Life Book 2013

I was so thrilled an honored when the wonderful Tamara Laporte from in the UK contacted me some weeks ago and asked if I would be willing to teach on Life Book 2013.  What a huge honor.  I have admired Tam and Willowing's work over the years, and LOVE the idea of Life Book.  (Don't tell Tam, but I was actually planning on signing up for the 2013 program as a participant.)

"Life Book – An Honoring and Celebration of YOU” is a year long art journaling course which begins on January 1st 2013. The course aims to inspire and encourage participants to connect to, and honor themselves through a series of mixed media art journaling workshops. Each month, under the guidance of Tam and other teachers, you will create several unique, and deeply personal journal pages which will, by the end of the year, be combined and bound into a personal journal or "Life Book".

This book, which you alone will have created, will represent your personal journey over the course of a full  year, and will be a sacred art recollection of this journey, and your growth throughout the program.

Each month, there will be a minimum of 2 mixed media lessons, one by Tam, and one by a special guest teacher. Some months there will be additional lessons and worksheets from an extra guest teacher, and there will also be additional activities, prompts, ATC swaps, and artist interviews posted throughout the year. It is an AMAZING journey and one not to be missed.

The program of offerings will be announced soon, but the line of of incredible Life Book 2013 Teachers has just been announced.  Click here to see who is teaching. I will be creating a beautiful lesson that I hope will add to your uplifting pool of experiences.

All of the amazing women will be producing brand new classes for this program.  It is a beautiful and gentle way to nuture your creative soul through your next vital stage of growth. Registration opens on October 8th, 2012. For more information, click here.

This painting of a dragonfly at rest was done using a combination of Luminarte's Twinkling H2O's, Radiant Rains, and Pen & Ink. To purchase a print of this, and other of my works, please visit my gallery at Fine Art America.
