A Rose for Love

"Love vanquishes time. To lovers, a moment can be eternity, eternity can be the tick of a clock. Across the barriers of time and the ultimate destiny, love persists, for the home of the beloved, absent or present, is always in the mind and heart. Absence does not diminish love."

~Mary Parrish, McCalls magazine

This rose, I dedicated to my own true love.

Through thick and thin, through joy and anguish, through triumph and defeat...love endures.

For loyalty, for passion, for steadfastness, for reliability, for trust, for intimacy, for friendship.

Year after year, challenge after challenge, the constant is love...always love.

For no particular reason at all, I just want to say thank you, and I love you.

xx

(This rose was painted in Twinkling H2O's on 5x5 Arches, 140lb Watercolor Paper)

  6. I just noticed your note about losing your photos. I once deleted a bunch of blog posts by mistake. I kept googling it and found that even without backup, it is still there on the web. I don't have my computer on, but when I do I'll look for it. I deleted a coupl of months worth of posts, maybe not the same as just the pictures.
