An Artist in the Garden

Here's something a little different for you.  As many of you know, we moved house this summer and have settled nicely into our new home.

I was thrilled to discover that the lady who owned the house before us was a wonderful gardener.

Sadly, I didn't inherit my mother's green-thumb, but I do have a passion for beautiful gardens.  In fact, they are my greatest source of inspiration in my art.

So, I thought I'd share with you a few snaps from my summer garden, along with the first of some fun little bookmarks I've been creating that were inspired by my new surroundings.

This bookmark is one of four I painted.  It is done in flat watercolor with Luminarte's Twinkling H2O's and Radiant Rains for the background.

Don't forget, if you want to learn how to master your glorious Twinkling H2O's, or you want to learn all about luminescent watercolor painting, then please join me for my online class Mastering Twinks. It begins on July 26th and registration is now open.  Click here for more information.

Thanks for checking in. xx
