Mastering Twinks, an online class that takes you into the shimmering, dancing world of Twinkling H2O's begins its second run in less than two weeks. Twinkling H2O's are shimmering, glistening watercolor paints, created by color extraordinaire Leslie Ohnstad from Luminarte. They are laced with mica minerals and have to be seen to be believed. There are over 200 incredible colors and they come in a variety of pot sizes and sets.
In Mastering Twinks, I introduce you to the world of twinkling, luminescent watercolor paint, and take you on a shimmering journey through tricks, tips and techniques for getting the most from them. This three week class is pdf based with a private online forum for sharing and discussion. But beware, they are addictive!
Here's what some of the participants of the first run of Mastering Twinks had to say:
"Thanks Dion. I love the Twinks and love the abundance of information
you are sharing with us."

"Thanks so much for a wonderful class and for the wonderful 'book' that you prepared. It is a

ReplyDeleteXOXOXO Juliana
I've been admiring your work with twinkling H2Os for months I'm sure I'd enjoy the class.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious medium would love to try them and test their limits and a guide would be essential I think to get the best of it. Trying to paint again after a spinal injury and it's quite daunting to try and paint a different way. Taken three years to get some control and something like this medium would make any effort worthy.
ReplyDeleteIt would be awesome to win a spot for this class. I have never used Twinkling H2O's but would really love to learn how. Thanks so much for the chance to win. :-) Laurie

ReplyDeleteHi Dion! I would love to win this opportunity so I can give it to my sister, Char! She is an amazing artist who doesn't recognize it in herself and has always shied away from taking courses...but secretly I know she wants to learn to watercolor. She has always loved the sparkly paints and I know she would love Twinks if she tried them...especially having someone gently guide her like you! Thank you for sharing this with us! Love, Selah <3
ReplyDeletePS... I posted your blog on my FB page! Selah <3

I enjoy learning new mediums and seeing where they can take me. The Twinks look like we could have a lot of fun together.
ReplyDeleteAll the best!
reasons i would like to take this class? because i think it would be a blast!! i love the look they give your personal work - they make your artwork sparkle. i love learning new techniques. i love using new materials. exploring. for me, art is therapeutic (sp). i am bipolar and being creative helps my psyche in numerous ways - from discovering things about myself i might not have realized to giving me something to do that feels worthwhile and fun. being creative brings me joy. the reason i would like to be one of the two individuals to earn a spot in the class is because i'm on disability and live on a limited income. the class and the supplies would be so appreciated. and i always like learning new things, new approaches, techniques from a variety of teachers/sources. so, that's it in a nutshell ...
ReplyDeleteI had this last class on my wish list but was unable to make it due to health issues. We all know about that. With Spring upon us, I think this would be a grand way to spend it learning this incredible technique.

i hope that this is the link you need to show that i put it on my facebook https://www.facebook.com/lura.brown i want to win soooo much that i can hardly stand to even wait to find out who the winners are. i wish i could afford to take the class but i am disabled and living on disability and barely am surviving financially so this is the only way i can take this fantastic class. so i am telling everyone, even though that makes my chances less, but gives them to know about what a great class this is. i am gonna be on pins and needles waiting to hear if i won. and if i dont then somehow, someday i will save enough to take the class. i want to twinkle!!! hugs, lura
ReplyDeleteps i also joined both your blogs, subscribed to the news letter posted on fb twice, and on here......can i come clean your house for an extra chance. LOL!! hugs and hopes, lura

ReplyDeleteHi Dion, It' AKGherman, from 21 secrets. Your circles class gave me back the window to my soul. It had long been lost or at least unavailable due to some hardships that led me to depression, medication, and almost 2 years in therapy... I have been on the path to healing for a few months now, but something was missing and the missing link was that window... you helped me find it and I will always be thankful to you because of it. Your twinklings added color and sparkle to my window.
